This is an elective 6 week course for students in 7th grade. Students will be introduced to the kitchen:

Kitchen tools

Kitchen safety

Kitchen vocabulary

* We will cook and bake comfort foods, Mexican food, Japanese food, and Irish food.Students will be reading from text, power points and completing outlines about related topics from the kitchen.  They will complete a quiz after each section and take a final at the end. We will also be spending some time journaling about our cooking/baking experience!  Each kitchen group fills out a plan for each unit covered:

1) Tools needed for recipe

2) Student's job for the recipe

3) Clean up
