Birth to Three Services
Nebraska Early Development Network Early Intervention Services
Nebraska Early Development Network serves families and children birth to age three. A child is eligible for services if he or she is not typically developing or has a medical condition that will affect his or her development.
Referrals are made through a Services Coordinator. The Services Coordinator coordinates with DC West staff to determine if a child is eligible for Early Intervention Services through a multidisciplinary team evaluation.
If a child is determined eligible for services, an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) is developed. Services may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, consultative support, hearing services, vision services, and assistive technology support.
If you have concerns about your child aged birth-three and would like to make a referral, please contact JoDell Phillips 402-597-4950, email: firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also complete the online EDN Referral Form.
Birth to Three Home Visiting Program
The Birth to Three Home Visiting Program provides early learning opportunities and strategies to build stronger family bonds. The program also provides connections to community resources. The program has a strong link to the goals of the DC West elementary school so home-to-school partnerships can be shaped from the beginning of a child’s life. This program is designed to give children the BEST start in life as they head to school. This program is FREE to anyone in the Douglas County West Community School District.
