Birth to Three Services
Nebraska Early Development Network Early Intervention Services
Nebraska Early Development network serves families and children birth to age three. A child is eligible for services if he or she is not typically developing or has a medical condition that will affect his or development.
Referrals are made through a Services Coordinator. The Services Coordinator, coordinates with DC West staff to determine if a child is eligible for Early Intervention Services through a multidisciplinary team evaluation.
If a child is determined eligible for services, an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) is developed. Services may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, consultative support, hearing services, vision services, and assistive technology support.
If you have concerns about your child aged birth-three, and would like to make a referral, please contact JoDell Phillips 402-597-4950, email: email@example.com. You may also complete the online EDN Referral Form.
Prenatal to Three Home Visiting Program
Children and their families will be served through a “two generation” home visiting model. Regular home visiting activities support the development of strong parent/child relationships, child development skills, parenting education, and connections between parents and community resources. The home visiting program has a strong link to the goals of elementary school programs so home‐school partnerships can be shaped from the beginning of a child’s life.
