My name is Jami Herchenbach and this is my seventh year teaching First Grade here at D.C.West!  I am so happy to be a part of a wonderful school with great students, staff, and families!  My beliefs are that each child can learn and because each one is unique, they learn in many different ways.  I will provide learning experiences to meet the needs of all students. 

My husband, Bob, and I have been blessed with 3 wonderful boys.  It amazes me how different each of them can be when you raise them all the same.  Riley works for a Senator in Lincoln.  Tanner is a junior at UNL.  Carter is a junior in high school.  When not watching one of my boys' activities, I enjoy reading, walking, learning new things, and spending time with family.

This is going to be a GREAT year full of learning, making new friends, and growing together
