I am so very excited to be here at DC West Elementary! This is my 14th year as a teacher and my 4th year here at DC West Elementary. I am thrilled to be in Kindergarten! I am originally from Nebraska City and much of my family still lives there. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2003 and I earned my Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction and Early Childhood Education from Doane College in 2008. I currently live in Omaha with my husband Nate, who is a high school teacher,our 5year old son Ethan and our new baby girl Eliana!. We have a black and white Chihuahua named Pumba. Yes, I love The Lion King! During my free time, I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
