Children need healthy meals to learn. Douglas County West Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $2.30; lunch costs $3.65 (HS/MS) & $3.40 (Elem/PK). Your children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. In accordance with the Nebraska Hunger-Free Schools Act, reduced-price breakfast and lunch are $0 for school year 2026-2027. If your child(ren) qualified for free or reduced-price meals at the end of last school year, you must submit a new application by Oct. 1st, 2026, to avoid an interruption in meal benefits.

Use one Free and Reduced Price School Meals Application for all students in your household. We cannot approve an application that is not complete. Be sure to fill out all required information.
