Welcome to the DC West Vocal Music Web page!  My name is Mrs. Beyl, and I am in my tenth year of teaching vocal music at DC West.  I previously taught in Battle Creek, NE, Fort Calhoun, NE, and Nebraska Christian College in addition to teaching in my home piano studio.  I enjoyed some time off from teaching early in my career and stayed home with our children during their younger years.  I have a degree in K-12 Music Education with an emphasis in piano from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  I also have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College. My husband and I have three children, two dogs, and two cats.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing the piano, reading, and cooking.
